Adjusting the angle of the rear seat backrest
To change the angle of the seatback, lean forward slightly, press the seatback locking lever A upward, then lean back to the desired position and release the lever. The seatback will lock in this position.
Warning! To reduce the risk of injury in the event of an accident or sudden braking, the driver's and passenger's seat backs should be kept as nearly upright as possible while the vehicle is moving. When the seat back is reclined, the effectiveness of the seat belts may be significantly reduced and there is a risk that the passenger may slip out from under the seat belt and be seriously injured.
Note: If the cargo cover contacts the rear seatback, move it back.
Note: Do not leave the rear seats unsecured. Make sure that they do not rest on the luggage compartment cover, as this may be damaged if you apply too much pressure to it.
Folding the seat back forward
By folding the rear seat backs forward, you can load larger items into the vehicle.
Folding the backrest
Press lever A towards the inside of the passenger compartment and fold the seat back forward.
Returning the rear seat back to its original position
To return the rear seatback to its normal position, push the seatback locking lever A towards the inside of the passenger compartment and lift the seatback up until it locks into place.
Make sure the seat back is securely fastened by pressing lightly on it.
Warning! Do not allow children to play in the trunk of the car. When the car is moving, children must be in special seats and securely fastened.
Make sure the rear seatbacks are in a nearly upright position and are securely latched.
Secure luggage securely and make sure that its height does not exceed the height of the rear seats. Do not neglect these warnings, because high luggage will not only obstruct your view, but can also fall into the passenger compartment and cause serious injury if the car brakes suddenly.
Note: On vehicles with a spare tire compartment, the cargo cover (when not in use) can be stored in the cargo floor box.
Armrest
To use the armrest, fold it down as shown in the picture.
To return the armrest to its original position, pull it back towards the seat back and lock it in this position.
Note: There is a cup holder for rear seat passengers at the top of the armrest.
