This manual is intended to describe the repair and maintenance procedures for the Japanese SUV "Mitsubishi Pajero 4" (fourth generation), which were produced from 2006 to 2021. In some markets, they were sold under the names "Montero" and "Shogun".

This manual describes vehicles equipped with V-shaped six-cylinder gasoline engines with a volume of 3.0 liters (2998 cm³, 6B31, SOHC, 220 hp) and 3.8 liters (3828 cm³, 6G7, SOHC, 250 hp), as well as four-cylinder diesel engines with a volume of 3.2 liters (3200 cm³, 4M4, DOHC, 200 hp). Also described is the repair of mechanical transmissions (five-speed V5M31) and automatic transmissions (five-speed V5A5A), all-wheel drive systems, suspension, brake system, body and on-board electrical equipment.
