General information (Mitsubishi Pajero 4)
The cars are equipped with four-spoke steering wheels. The three-spoke steering wheel can be equipped with an airbag. The steering column is equipped with a shock absorption device and a tilt adjustment mechanism. The steering system consists of a rack and pinion steering mechanism and a steering drive, which are combined into a compact and lightweight design. The power steering system consists of a vane pump with a fluid flow control system, due to which the servo drive force varies depending on the engine crankshaft speed.
