1. Remove the front and rear engine crankcase guards.
2. Drain the automatic transmission fluid (ATF).
3. Drain the oil from the transfer case.
4. Remove the left and right front exhaust pipes, remove the heat-resistant shield of the instrument panel.
5. Remove the front and rear propeller shaft.
6. Remove the radiator expansion tank.
7. Remove the air intake duct.
8. Remove the lower radiator shroud cover.
9. Disconnect the tension cable connection (1).
10. Remove the dynamic shock absorber (2).
11. Remove the tension cable (3).
12. Remove the tension cable bracket (4).
13. Remove the ground connection (5).
14. Disconnect the gearbox control cable connection (6).
15. Disconnect the heater hose connection (7).

16. Remove the starter (8).
17. Remove the heat-resistant shield (9).
18. Remove the oil level measuring tube assembly (10).
19. Remove the cover of the security bell (11).
20. Unscrew the connecting bolts of the drive disk (12).
21. Disconnect the automatic transmission fluid cooler pipe connection (13).
22. Remove the exhaust system support bracket (14).
23. Disconnect the gearbox wiring connectors (15).
1) Lower the transmission so that the electrical wiring connectors can be disconnected, and then disconnect the connectors.
2) Position the disconnected transmission wiring as it is located on the vehicle.
24. Support the gearbox using a transmission jack.
25. Remove the central cross beam of the gearbox mount (16).
26. Remove the gearbox mounting insulator assembly (17).
27. Disconnect the gearbox wiring connection (18).
28. Disconnect the ventilation hose connection (19).
29. Unscrew the upper gearbox connecting bolts (20).
30. Unscrew the lower gearbox connecting bolts (21).
31. Remove the gearbox assembly with the transfer case (22).
Caution: Place a block of wood between crossmember No. 2 and the engine oil pan to secure the engine and prevent damage when removing the transmission.
