Removal the Automatic Transmission Fluid Cooler



1. Remove the front and rear engine crankcase guards.

2. Drain the automatic transmission fluid (ATF).

3. Remove the right front exhaust pipe.

4. Remove the radiator assembly.

5. Remove the hose (1).

6. Remove the bushing (2).

7. Remove the spacer (3).

8. Remove the automatic transmission fluid return pipe (4).

9. Remove the hose (5).

10. Remove the radiator grille.

11. Remove the bushing (6).

12. Remove the spacer (7).

13. Remove the automatic transmission fluid cooler bracket (8).

14. Remove the bushing (9).

15. Remove the spacer (10).

16. Remove the automatic transmission fluid cooler bracket (11).

17. Remove the automatic transmission fluid cooler (12).

18. Unscrew the bolt (13).

19. Remove the automatic transmission fluid cooler tube assembly (14).

20. Remove the automatic transmission fluid cooler tube bracket assembly (15).

21. Remove the return hose (16).

22. Remove the feed hose (17).

23. Remove the hose (18).

24. Remove the hose (19).

25. Remove the automatic transmission fluid cooler tube assembly (20).






Installing an Automatic Transmission Fluid Cooler



Note: When installing, tighten the bolts to the tightening torques shown in the figure.


1. Install the automatic transmission fluid cooler tube assembly (20).

2. Install the hose (19).

3. Install the hose (18).

4. Install the feed hose (17).

5. Install the return hose (16).

1) Install the return hose and feed hose according to the installation marks as shown in the figure.



6. Install the automatic transmission fluid cooler tube bracket assembly (15).

7. Install the automatic transmission fluid cooler tube assembly (14).

8. Tighten the bolt (13).

1) Temporarily tighten the bolt, then secure the pipes with clamps and then fully tighten the bolt.

9. Install the automatic transmission fluid cooler (12).

10. Install the automatic transmission fluid cooler bracket (11).

11. Install the spacer (10).

12. Install the bushing (9).

13. Install the automatic transmission fluid cooler bracket (8).

14. Install the spacer (7).

15. Install the sleeve (6).

16. Install the radiator grille.

17. Install the hose (5).

18. Install the automatic transmission fluid return pipe (4).



19. Install the spacer (3).

20. Install the sleeve (2).

21. Install the hose (1).

22. Install the radiator assembly.

23. Install the right front exhaust pipe.

24. Fill with automatic transmission fluid (ATF).

25. Install the front and rear engine crankcase guards.
