Note: When installing, tighten the bolts to the tightening torques shown in the figure.


1. Install the gearbox assembly with the transfer case (22).

2. Tighten the lower gearbox connecting bolts (21).

3. Tighten the upper gearbox connecting bolts (20).

Please note: Connecting bolts come in different sizes. Be careful not to confuse them.

4. Connect the ventilation hose connection (19).



5. Connect the gearbox wiring harness connection (18).

6. Install the gearbox mounting insulator assembly (17).

7. Install the central gearbox mounting cross beam (16).

8. Remove the transmission jack.

9. Connect the gearbox wiring harness connectors (15).

10. Install the exhaust system support bracket (14).

11. Connect the automatic transmission fluid cooler tube connection (13).

12. Tighten the drive disk connecting bolts (12).

13. Install the cover of the security bell (11).

14. Install the oil level measuring tube assembly (10).

15. Install the heat-resistant shield (9).

16. Install the starter (8).

17. Connect the heater hose connection (7).

18. Connect the gearbox control cable connection (6).

19. Install the ground connection (5).

20. Install the tension cable bracket (4).

21. Install the tension cable (3).

22. Install the speakers

23. Connect the tension cable connection (1).

24. Install the lower radiator shroud cover.

25. Install the air intake duct.

26. Install the radiator expansion tank.

27. Install the front and rear propeller shaft.

28. Install the left and right front exhaust pipes, remove the instrument panel heat shield.

29. Fill the transfer case with oil.

30. Fill with automatic transmission fluid (ATF).

31. Install the front and rear engine crankcase guards.
