2. Working under the vehicle, clean away any dirt in the drain plug area.

3. Place a suitable container under the drain plug, then loosen and remove the plug and drain the oil into the container (Fig. 11.2).
4. After the oil has drained, clean the mating surfaces of the cover and gearbox from dirt and oil.
5. Screw in the plug and tighten it to a torque of 38 N·m.

6. Unscrew the filler plug and fill with new oil to the specified level (Fig. 11.3, 11.4). Recommended transmission oil – Elf Tranself TRX 75W–80W (XT3556). Volume – 3.4 l.
7. Replace the filler cap and tighten it to the specified torque.
