Consumables:
- Gearbox oil specification API GL-4 or 5 SAE 75W-85W. For all-wheel drive, additionally SAE 80W.
Replacement
- Raise the car horizontally.
- Inspect the gearbox for oil leaks.
- Place a suitable container under the box.

Transfer case
- Unscrew the oil drain plug and drain the oil. Drain the oil as long as possible, then screw the plug back in.
- Unscrew the oil filler plug.
- Fill with oil of the appropriate specification up to the lower edge of the oil filler hole.

- Close the cap, but do not tighten it too much.
