Checking the oil level in the gearbox and transfer case (4WD) (Mitsubishi Outlander 1)

Remove the filler plug.

Check the oil level. If the oil level is just below the bottom edge of the filler hole, this is normal.

If the oil level is significantly low, add fresh transmission oil to the gearbox and/or transfer case.
