1. Disconnect the battery from ground.
2. Raise the car.
3. Drain the oil from the manual transmission (or automatic transmission fluid).
4. Mark the position of the propeller shaft flange and disconnect the shaft from the gearbox.
5. Remove the cover, pry up and remove the seal.
6. Assembly is carried out in reverse order.
7. Press the new oil seal with a mandrel until the surface of the oil seal is aligned with the gearbox housing (transfer case).
