Consumables
- Conventional differential, locker (rnnVCU) API GL-5 hypoid oil SAE 80.
- Differential locker (mechanical type) API GL-5 hypoid oil SAE 90 or SAE 80W-90. For example, CASTROL HYPOLY LS or SHELL-LSD or equivalent oil.
Replacement
- Raise the car horizontally.
- Inspect the rear axle for oil leaks.
- Open the oil drain plug and let the oil drain until it comes out in separate drops. Close and tighten the plug with a force of 60 Nm.
- Unscrew the oil filler plug.
- Pour in about 1.1 liters of hypoid oil and check the oil level with your finger. The oil level should be at the bottom edge of the hole.
- Screw in and tighten the plug to 50 Nm.
