3. The dipstick is used to check the fluid level. Make sure that the fluid level is in the area marked HOT on the dipstick (7.3a, 7.3b).
7.3b Check the fluid level when the gearbox is warmed up to normal operating temperature - the fluid level should be in the area of the HOT mark (between the two lines)
