Automatic transmission fluid level (Mitsubishi Pajero 1)

The automatic transmission fluid level should be checked every 48,000 km.

Checking and restoring the fluid level



1. Drive and warm up the fluid.

2. Place the car on a level horizontal surface, apply the handbrake, start the engine and let it idle.

3. Move the selector lever to position N.

4. Remove the dipstick from the tube and check the fluid level, which should be between the hot fluid marks on the dipstick (tags hot).

5. If necessary, add the required amount of fluid through the dipstick pipe, without exceeding the permissible level.
