Adjusting the bonnet gap
1. Loosen the hood hinge mounting bolts. Move the hood hinge backwards/forwards and left/right to align the hood gap.
2. Tighten the hood hinge mounting bolts to the recommended tightening torque of 21±8 N·m after adjustment.
Adjusting the level of the bonnet and bonnet striker
1. Remove the radiator grille.
2. Remove the hood lock cover.
3. Loosen the hood lock mounting bolts. Move the hood lock backward/forward and left/right to level the hood and adjust the position of the hood striker.
4. Tighten the hood lock mounting bolts after adjustment.
5. Install the hood lock cover.
6. Install the radiator grille.
Adjusting the height of the hood
1. Turn the shock absorber in the direction shown in the figure to adjust the height of the hood. If the hood height does not correspond to the required value, turn the shock absorber again. The shock absorber height increases by approximately 3 mm per rotation.
Note: If noise or vibration from the hood is heard while the vehicle is moving, the hood shock absorber needs to be adjusted or replaced.
