The parking brake lever can be of two types depending on the type of front passenger seat.

For a single seat - type 1 (located in the floor console to the right of the driver's seat).

For a two-seater seat - type 2 (located under the dashboard, to the right of the steering column).

Note: Double passenger seat is available as an option on Single Cab only.

Type 1



To turn on, pull the lever all the way without pressing the button located at the end of the handle.

To turn off:
  • 1. Pull the lever up slightly towards you.
  • 2. Press the button at the end of the handle.
  • 3. Release the lever completely towards the floor.



Type 2



To turn on, pull the lever all the way. (See Fig. 100)

To turn off:
  • 1. Press button A (see Fig. 101).
  • 2. While holding the button down, turn the lever clockwise.
  • 3. Press the lever all the way down.



Note: When the parking brake is applied, the indicator lamp in the instrument cluster should come on. When the parking brake is released, the indicator lamp goes out.
