Note: Be sure to lower the sunroof cover before closing the shade.
If the sunroof is open, it is not possible to close the sunshade. Do not attempt to close the sunshade when the sunroof is open.
The hatch stops just short of reaching the fully open position.
With the hatch in this position, air vibration during movement is lower than when fully open.
When leaving the car, be sure to close the hatch and remove the key from the ignition.
Do not attempt to open the hatch if it is frozen in the closed position (after a snowfall or in severe frost).
Do not place heavy objects on or near the hatch.
Release the switch immediately after the sunroof is fully open or closed.
If the hatch does not move when you press the switch, release the switch and check if anything is blocking its movement. If there are no obstacles, it is recommended to check the hatch drive.
When installing some roof racks or ski carriers, the hatch may touch them when tilted. If you have a roof rack or ski carrier installed, be careful when tilting the hatch.
Before leaving your vehicle or entering a car wash, make sure the sunroof is tightly closed.
Do not allow wax-containing substances to come into contact with the hatch opening seal (black rubber strip). If wax gets on the seal, its sealing will be lost.
After washing your car or after it rains, wipe off any water from the sunroof before opening it.
Using the sunroof for a long time with the engine off will drain the battery. Use the sunroof only with the engine running.
