Note:
- Any door can be locked and unlocked using the lock button located on the inside of the door.
- If the doors are unlocked and locked multiple times in succession, the built-in central locking protection circuit may be activated, disabling the system. In this case, wait about a minute before using the lock button or key again.
The procedure for locking and unlocking all doors is described below
Unlocking the doors with the selector lever (vehicles with remote control door locks)
All doors can be unlocked using the automatic transmission selector lever. To do this, it must be moved to position P, while the ignition key must be in the ON position (BWl.).
Note: The vehicle is shipped from the factory set so that the doors will not unlock if the gear selector lever is moved to the P position with the ignition on.
Blocking the unlocking of the rear doors from the passenger compartment (children's castle) (for Double Cab modification)
This device prevents accidental opening of the doors, especially if there are small children in the back seat.
Each of the rear doors has a lever.
If this lever is set to the LOCK position (blocked), the rear doors cannot be opened from inside.
In this case, they can only be opened from the outside.
If the lever is moved to the UNLOCK position (Unlocked), the protective device does not work.
