The direction indicators start to flash when the lever is moved (with the ignition ON). At the same time, the direction indicator light starts to flash.

1. Direction indicators.

Before making a normal turn, set the lever to position (1). When the turn is completed, the lever will automatically return to its original position.

In some cases, the automatic return of the lever does not occur. This happens when turning the steering wheel at a small angle.

In this case, return the lever to its original position manually.

2. Signal for changing lanes.

When changing lanes, move the lever to position (2). Release the lever and it will return to the neutral position.

Note: It is possible to enable additional switch functions (for more information, contact your authorized MITSUBISHI MOTORS service center):
  • buzzer sound when turn signal is turned on;
  • turning on the direction indicator and indicator lamp in the instrument cluster when moving the switch lever if the ignition key is in the ACC position;
  • three times flashing of the direction indicator and the indicator lamp in the instrument cluster when the switch lever is briefly moved to position (2).
