When the combination switch is moved (with the ignition switch in the "ON" position), the corresponding direction indicators start to flash. At the same time, the direction indicator indicator lamp on the instrument panel flashes.
Standard operating mode of the turn signal switch
When making a normal turn, move the lever to position 1. After completing the turn, the lever will automatically return to its original position. Sometimes, after turning the car, the lever does not return to its original position. This happens when turning the steering wheel at a small angle. In this case, move the lever to its original position by hand.
Switch operation mode when changing lanes
When changing lanes, move the lever to position 2. Then release the lever and it will return to neutral.
Note: If the indicator light flashes too quickly, the turn signal light may be burned out. Consult an authorized MITSUBISHI dealer.
