Headlights
Turn the switch to turn on the exterior lights/headlights.
All headlights/exterior lights are off.
The side lights, rear license plate lights and instrument panel lights are on.

Note: To avoid draining the battery, do not leave the headlights or other lights on for too long when the engine is not running.
Sometimes during rain or after the car has been washed, the inner surface of the headlights may fog up. This phenomenon is similar to fogging of glass in wet weather and is not a sign of a malfunction. After turning on the headlights, the surface of the headlight will dry out under the influence of heat.
For models with daytime lighting
When the ignition switch is in the "ON" position and the combination light, headlight and turn signal switch is in the
("OFF"), then the low beam headlights, rear side lights, etc. will be on.
Automatic headlight/exterior lighting control system
If any exterior lights remain on while the ignition switch is in the LOCK or ACC position and the headlight switch is in the
then after approximately 3 minutes the lamps will automatically go out if the driver's side door is not opened during this period of time.
If the ignition key is in the "LOCK" or "ACC" positions, or is removed from the ignition switch, and the headlight switch remains in the position, then when the driver's door is opened
a warning signal is heard. It reminds the driver that the lighting is not switched off. This system operates for approximately 3 minutes. Then the lighting is automatically switched off.
Note: The automatic light switch-off control system does not operate when the combination light, headlamp and turn signal switch is in the position.
If, within the first 3 minutes after turning the ignition key to the "LOCK" or "ACC" position, the headlight switch is moved from the position
in position 
then the automatic shutdown system for outdoor lighting will not function.
Leaving outdoor lights on
Turn the ignition key to the "LOCK" or "ACC" position or remove it from the ignition switch and turn the headlight switch to the "ON" position
("OFF") to turn off all lighting lamps.
Then turn the headlight switch back to position

. The exterior lights will come on and stay on.
Buzzer (sound signal) for turning off headlights
If the driver's side door is opened while the ignition switch is in the "LOCK" or "ACC" (optional) position, or while the key is removed from the ignition switch and the headlight switch is in the "ON" position,
or 
a buzzer is activated (a sound signal is heard), reminding the driver to turn off the headlights and exterior lighting. In cars with an automatic headlight switch-off system, the buzzer will turn off automatically. If there is no such system, the buzzer stops sounding after pressing the headlight switch.
Switching headlights (low/high beam)
When the headlight switch is in the position
then each time the lever is moved to position 1, the light switches from high beam to low beam (or from low beam to high beam). When the high beam is on, the high beam indicator lamp should also light up.
Light signal transmission
When the switch lever is moved slightly to position 2, the headlights will light up, and after releasing the lever, they will go out.
If the high beam is on, the high beam indicator lamp will also light.
Note: The flashing light mode can also be activated when the headlights/exterior lights are off.
If you turn off the headlights with the high beam on, then when you subsequently move the lever to the position
, the low beam will turn on automatically.
