Selecting the mode of operation of external lighting devices
1. Selecting the mode of operation of external lighting devices (dimensions, low beam) is performed using a rotary handle located at the end of the steering column switch lever. There is a choice of one of three outdoor lighting modes:
O turned off
- marker lights - turn on the front and rear marker lights, license plate lights
- low beam - in addition to the lights involved in the previous position of the handle, the low beam of the headlights is turned on
2. On models equipped with daytime running lights (DRL) headlights are automatically switched to low beam mode when the ignition is switched on. The taillights are also automatically activated.
3. Most models are equipped with a warning buzzer to warn the driver to turn off the lights before exiting the vehicle. The buzzer sounds when you try to open the driver's door with the ignition off (key in LOCK or ACC position), if the outdoor lighting mode selection knob is not turned to the position "Off" O.
Attention! Remember that excessively long operation of outdoor lighting with the engine turned off is fraught with a battery drain!
Switching the operating modes of the headlights (near/far light)
Turning on the high beam and signaling the headlights
1 - Turn on high beam
2 - Signaling headlights
1. Switching the headlights from the low beam mode to the high beam mode is done by moving the stalk lever to the position (1), - the corresponding control lamp of the characteristic blue light should light up automatically on the instrument panel (see above).
2. The possibility of high beam signaling is also provided: the signaling is carried out by slightly pressing the stalk lever in the direction of switching on the high beam (position (2)) and regardless of the selected position of the handle for selecting the mode of operation of external lighting devices (see above).
Direction indicators
Turn signal activation
1 - Turn on pointers in constant mode (until the limit switch is activated or the lever is moved to the middle position)
2 - Short-term activation of pointers (until the lever is released)
1. The direction indicators are activated by pushing the left stalk lever in the appropriate direction. The lever is moved up or down, depending on the selected direction of change of course.
2. When moving the lever to the extreme upper / lower position (click) the corresponding direction indicators will continue to function until the steering wheel is returned to the straight-ahead position (the limit switch will work), or until the lever is returned to neutral.
3. Short-term inclusion of indicators, for example, when you intend to change lanes of movement, is done by slightly pulling the lever up or down.
