Removal and installation
− The parts are removed in the order of the numbers indicated in the figure "Removing the steering column combination switch".
Removal the steering column combination switch. 1 - Upper steering column cover; 2 - lower steering column cover; 3 - steering column combination switch (exterior lighting switch); 4 - steering wheel combination switch (windshield wiper and washer switch).
− Installation of parts is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Examination
1. Checking the exterior lighting switch and turn signal switch.
Check the condition of the circuit between the terminals of the steering column combination switch connectors at different switch positions according to the table provided.

Note: The windshield wiper and washer switch can only be tested using a tester.

2. Checking the switch connectors on the steering column combination switch housing.
a) Remove the windshield wiper and washer switch and the exterior light switch.
b) Check the table below for a closed circuit between the terminals of the steering column combination switch connectors.

Note: Connector "A" is the connector for the windshield wiper and washer switch; connector "B" - connector for external lighting switch.
