The beam direction of the headlights changes depending on the weight of the load carried by the vehicle. The headlight corrector switch can be used to adjust the distance illuminated by the headlights (when the low beam is on) so as not to blind oncoming drivers.
Set the switch to the appropriate position (as shown in the figure below) depending on the number of people and the weight of the cargo in the vehicle.
Position of the headlight range control switch "0" – Driver only/driver + front passenger.
Headlight corrector switch position "1" – 5 passengers (including driver).
Headlight corrector switch position "2" – 5 passengers (including the driver) + full body load.
Position of the headlight corrector switch "3" – driver + full body load.
Headlamp Washer Switch
The headlamp washer can be turned on when the ignition key is in the "ON" or "ACC" (Accessory) position and the headlamp switch is in the positions
. Press the button at the end of the lever once and a stream of washing fluid will be supplied to the headlights.
Note: Check the washers periodically to ensure that the washer fluid stream reaches the headlight lenses.
