Steering column switch block

1. Bottom cover; 2. Horn button cover; 3. Steering wheel; 4. Lower column casing; 5. Upper casing; 6. Switch

The switch block is non-disassemblable and if any of the switches fails, the entire unit must be replaced.

Removal and installation

1. Take measures to prevent the airbag from deploying.

2. Remove the steering wheel.

3. On some late-production vehicles, to access the lower casing of the speaker, you need to remove the lower cover of the front panel.

4. Remove the top and bottom speaker covers, disconnect the connector and remove the wiring from the brackets.

5. Loosen the screws and remove the switch.

The original material is posted on the website [MITSUBISHIMAN]

6. Install the switch block in reverse order, center it on the column, otherwise the turn signal switch will not turn off automatically after turning.
