Cars 1983-89.



Main fuse link



On 1983-89 vehicles it is located on the positive terminal of the battery, on 1988-89 vehicles it is located at the bottom of the connector next to the battery.

Auxiliary jumpers



The auxiliary jumpers are located at the bottom of the block next to the battery.

Special purpose fuses (outside the block)



On 1983-89 vehicles with a 4-cylinder engine, the headlight fuse is located in the harness behind the left headlight.

On 1987-88 vehicles, the air conditioner fuse is mounted on the evaporator housing.

On 1989 vehicles the rear window defroster fuse is in the harness next to the auxiliary fuse, on these V6 vehicles the headlamp fuse is on the driver's side bulkhead, the sunroof fuse is above the right front speaker, the window motor fuse is in the harness that runs just above the steering column under the dash.

The direction indicator and hazard warning flashers are mounted above the left mudguard trim panel on the driver's side (the hazard warning switch has a rounded shape).

1. ABS valve relay (until 1994.); 2. ABS drive relay; 3. Hydraulic module; 4. ABS relay unit (since 1995); 5. Horn relay; 6. Ignition switch socket illumination timer; 7. Starter relay; 8. ABS power supply relay; 9. Tail light relay; 10. Air conditioner fan relay; 11. Compressor relay; 12. Generator relay; 13. Headlight relay; 14. Relay for alternating operation of the wiper and washer (mounted in the steering column); 15. Engine check relay




Relay location (1992-98.)





1. Relay socket for connecting external devices; 2. Heater blower unit relay; 3. Block; 4–6. Before 1993.; 4, 9. Direction indicator and hazard warning flasher; 5, 10. Engine overload relay; 6, 11. Window lifter drive relay; 7, 12. Relay for alternating operation of rear window wiper and washer; 7a, 12a. Door lock relay; 8. Rear window defroster timer; 13. Headlight washer relay; 14. Door lock or rear window defroster relay; 15. Seat heater relay unit


Main fusible links



They are located on the positive pole of the battery and at the bottom of the block next to the battery.

Fuse box



It is located under the front panel on the left side, next to the speaker.

Special purpose fuses (outside the block)



Fuse No. 9 is located in the relay box, next to the fuse box.

The direction indicator and hazard warning flashers, overload relay, window lifter relay, rear window heating relay, rear window washer/wiper alternating relay are mounted separately under the dashboard, next to the fuse box and speaker.

The tail light relay, air conditioner fan relay, compressor relay, alternator relay and headlight relay are mounted separately in a small socket next to the battery.
