1. The interior light is off.
2. The interior lighting lamp is on if one of the side doors or the rear (fifth) door is open. When all doors (including the fifth) are closed, the brightness of the lamp gradually decreases and it goes out after about 15 seconds
In the following cases, the lamp goes out immediately after all doors are closed:
- the ignition key is turned to the "ON" position;
- all side doors and the rear (fifth) door are locked using the lock button on the driver's door or the remote control for the door locks.
Note: On vehicles with remote control door locks, when the key is removed from the ignition switch with all doors closed, the brightness of the interior lamp gradually decreases and goes out after about 15 seconds. The time it takes for the lamp to fade out can be adjusted.
If you leave the interior lights or local lights on for a long time while the engine is not running, the battery may run out. Before leaving the vehicle, make sure that all the lights are turned off.
"ON" – The interior light is on.
