The light is located in the front part of the car's ceiling dome and turns on automatically when the doors are opened. On models equipped with an anti-theft alarm, when the doors are closed, the light bulbs begin to gradually decrease in brightness until they turn off completely. The light consists of two separate sections that provide independent lighting for the left and right halves of the interior and are controlled by individual switches.

On models with a sunroof, the design of the main interior light is slightly different from that described above.
