Cigarette lighter

The cigarette lighter is mounted in the front ashtray trim panel on the central section of the instrument panel trim and functions only when the ignition is on (key in the ON or ACC position).

To activate the cigarette lighter, simply press its button into the socket until it stops - after the heating element has warmed up, the button will automatically pop out to its original position.

Warning! Never hold the cigarette lighter button down by force. If the cigarette lighter button does not pop out after being pressed for more than 30 seconds, the car should be taken to a service station to have the malfunction eliminated. After use, do not forget to return the button to the socket (to avoid clogging the latter).

The cigarette lighter socket can be used to connect external power consumers (pump, radiotelephone charger, vacuum cleaner) designed for 12 V power supply and with a power consumption of no more than 120 W.
