In the transfer case, the 2WD/4WD switching mechanism is a 2-cone synchronizer. This allows switching 2WD/4WD modes while driving and reduces switching efforts.

The Easy select type transfer case includes two main mechanisms:
  • 2WD/4WD switching mechanism;
  • mechanism for switching from a higher gear to a lower gear (and vice versa).

In this way, you can select the desired wheel drive operating mode.
