Removal and installation
− Before you begin removing parts, perform the following operations:
- a) Remove the rear seat cushion assembly.
- b) Remove the rear seat back assembly.
- c) Remove the rear shelf trim.
− Remove the parts in the order of the numbers shown in the figure "Removing the rear seat belts".
Removal the rear seat belts (station wagon). 1 - seat belt buckle, 2 - buckle retainer and seat belt buckle (rear seat center belt), 3 - cover, 4 - seat belt mounting plate, 5 - seat belt.
Removal the rear seat belts (sedan). 1 - seat belt buckle, 2 - seat belt latch and buckle (rear seat center belt), 3 - rear seat belt.
− Installation of parts is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
- After completing the installation of the parts, perform the following operations:
- a) Install the rear shelf trim.
- b) Install the rear seat back assembly.
- c) Install the rear seat cushion assembly.
Examination
Checking the seat belt switch sensor.
1. Check that the circuit is closed between terminals "1" and "2" of the connector when the switch is in the "ON" position (the belt is not fastened).
