Removal



Remove the rear spoiler assembly.

Remove the rear door trim assembly.

Remove the rear window wiper motor and rear window washer hose.

Remove the ceiling trim.

The parts are removed in the order shown in the figure.

When removing parts, pay attention to the operation of removing the rear door shock absorber strut.



To remove the rear door shock absorber strut, move the pin up and remove the strut in the direction shown by the arrow in the figure to loosen the bolt.

Caution: Do not attempt to disassemble the rear door shock absorber or expose it to heat.


Make sure there are no foreign particles on the shock absorber rod.



Installing the rear door seal





Install the rear door seal so that the center mark is in the middle of the body opening.
