
Check the smooth movement of the door glass along the guide groove when raising and lowering the glass to the extreme positions.
If the door glass does not move up and down smoothly, make adjustments.
Remove the door trim assembly and waterproof film.
Loosen the door glass mounting screws through the service holes with the door glass fully raised and lower the door glass slightly.
Raise the door glass fully and securely tighten the door glass mounting screws through the service holes.
Adjustment in case of failure of the side door window lifter
Note: This adjustment is made if the door glass automatically starts to move down when you press the switch to raise the glass.
Remove the door trim assembly and waterproof film.
Lower the door glass to the extreme position, then disconnect the glass from the holder on the window regulator. Raise and lower the door glass by hand to check the operating force.
Caution: Install a soft buffer inside the door to prevent damage to the glass if it accidentally falls.

If the door glass does not move up and down smoothly, perform the following checks and, if necessary, repair the parts.
Check that the door glass guide channel is installed correctly.
Eliminate twisting of the upper door glass guide.
Check that the lower door glass guide is installed correctly.
If repair or adjustment is not possible, replace the door assembly.
Checking the operation of the window lift safety mechanism

Place a wooden block about 10mm thick as shown in the picture then lift the door glass.
Check that after pressing the block, the glass has dropped by approximately 150 mm. If the window lifter does not operate as specified, the cause may be a faulty window lifter limit switch, a defective connector or wiring harness, a faulty auxiliary window lifter switch or main window lifter switch, or an incorrectly adjusted limit switch.
Warning! If the window lifter safety mechanism has been triggered three or more times in a row, the window lifter safety function must be initialized.
