Removing
Remove the door trim assembly.
Remove the outer door seal.
Remove the inner door window seal.
Remove the door glass guide groove.
Remove the door window molding.
The parts are removed in the order shown in the figure.
Attention! To avoid burns, be careful not to touch the heated side door glass frame and protective film.
Use a hair dryer to heat up the protective film.
Pry off the edge of the protective film with your finger and then remove it completely.
Installation
Installation of details is made in an order, the return to removal.
Make sure that the ambient temperature is between 20-30°C and that the surface where the protective film is attached is clean.
If the ambient temperature is less than 15°C, heat the protective film and its installation surface to 20–30°C. If the ambient temperature is more than 35°C, cool the protective film and its installation surface.
When applying the protective film to the frame of the side door glass, make sure that the edge of the protective film does not extend beyond the edge of the frame.
When applying the protective film, use a special tool to avoid wrinkles and air bubbles.
Dry piece of cloth (synthetic fiber) wipe the special tool and protective film.
Clear (degrease) isopropyl alcohol at the place of installation of the protective film.
Clean the film of dirt.
Apply a protective film to the side door glass frame.
Attach the edges of the protective film to the top and bottom edges of the side door glass frame.
