Removal

Remove the door trim assembly.
Remove the outer door opening seal.
Remove the inner door window seal.
Remove the door glass guide channel.
Remove the door window molding.
The parts are removed in the order shown in the figure.
Caution: To avoid burns, be careful not to touch the heated side door glass frame and protective film.
Use a hair dryer to heat the protective film.
Use your finger to lift the edge of the protective film and then remove it completely.

Installation

Installation of parts is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Make sure the ambient temperature is between 20-30°C and the surface where the protective film is attached is clean.
If the ambient temperature is below 15°C, heat the protective film and its installation surface to 20–30°C. If the ambient temperature is above 35°C, cool the protective film and its installation surface.
When applying the protective film to the side door glass frame, make sure that the edge of the protective film does not extend beyond the edge of the frame.
When applying the protective film, use a special tool to avoid the formation of folds and air bubbles.
Wipe the special tool and protective film with a dry piece of cloth (synthetic fiber).
Clean (degrease) the places where the protective film will be installed with isopropyl alcohol.
Clean the film from dirt.
Apply protective film to the side door glass frame.
Connect the edges of the protective film to the upper and lower edges of the side door glass frame.
Note: Circles in the illustrations indicate areas that require extra attention during installation.
