Warning! Do not drive the car with the rear (fifth) door open, as this may allow carbon monoxide (CO) to enter the car interior.
This gas has no color or odor, so you may not immediately notice its presence in the cabin. Inhaling carbon monoxide can lead to loss of consciousness or even death.
Note: The rear (fifth) door will always lock and unlock when the front doors (driver and front passenger doors) are locked and unlocked with the key, when using the interior driver's door lock switch, and when using the remote door locking control (on vehicles with central door locking).
Operations performed outside the vehicle
1. Insert (or remove) the key.
2. Locking position.
3. Unlock position.
Operations performed from inside the vehicle
4. Locking position (red mark should not be visible).
5. Unlock position.
The rear (fifth) door can be opened and locked using the interior lock button (on the driver's side), regardless of the position of the ignition key.
If the rear (fifth) door is locked or unlocked using the interior lock button (on the driver's side), it can also be opened or closed using the main key.
Note: Repeatedly switching from the Locked to the Unlocked position may cause the central locking system's built-in protection circuit to be activated, disabling the system. If this happens, wait one minute before using the interior locking button.
To open the rear (fifth) door, turn the key and pull the rear door lever towards you.
Attention! Before opening the door, make sure that no one is standing near it.
To close the rear (fifth) door, pull handle A down as shown in the figure and release it before the door is completely closed. Press lightly on the door from the outside so that the lock secures it.
Caution: Be careful not to trap your fingers or hand, remove your hand from the rear door handle before it closes.
Before you start driving, make sure that the rear (fifth) door is securely closed. If it opens while driving, luggage may fall out onto the road and create an emergency situation.
Gas springs B, located in the places indicated in the figure, serve to maintain the rear (fifth) door in the open position. To avoid an accident, pay attention to the following:
- do not attach any additional plastic or tape materials to the springs;
- do not wrap springs with cord, rope, etc.;
- do not pull on these springs when closing the door or hang any objects on them.
