When you press the corresponding button on the remote control, all doors, including the rear (fifth) door, are locked or unlocked.

Locking doors

Press the "LOCK" button, and all doors and the rear (fifth) door will be locked. At the same time, if the interior light switch is in the [–] position, the interior light and turn signals will flash twice.

Unlocking doors

Press the "UNLOCK" button and all doors and the rear (fifth) door will be unlocked. In this case, if the interior light switch is in the [–] position, the interior light will light for about 15 seconds, and all direction indicators will flash once.

Note: Some of the functions of the remote control door lock system (unlocking or locking all doors and the fifth door with flashing direction indicators) may be excluded. Consult your authorized MITSUBISHI dealer.

The remote door lock control system does not work in the following cases:
  • the key is left in the ignition;
  • at least one of the doors or the back (fifth) door is not closed.

If after pressing the UNLOCK button none of the doors (including the fifth door) are opened for approximately 30 seconds, the doors will automatically lock.

The range of the door lock remote control is approximately 4 m. However, this range may be different if the car is located near TV or radio broadcasting stations, or a transformer substation or power station.

If the remote control door lock system does not work when you press the buttons on the remote control, the remote control battery may need to be replaced.

If the door lock remote control has been lost, please contact your authorized MITSUBISHI dealer and order a new remote control.

Warning: Do not leave the remote control in direct sunlight to prevent it from overheating.

The door lock remote control is a precision electronic device, so the following precautions must be taken when handling it:
  • do not drop the remote control or subject it to impacts;
  • keep the remote dry;
  • do not disassemble the remote control.

Rear door locking (child protection)

1. Lock position.
2. Unlock position.

The door locks help prevent accidental door opening, especially when small children are in the back seat. Door lock levers are located on each rear door.

If the door lock lever is in the "locked" position, the rear passenger doors cannot be opened from inside the vehicle. To open the rear door with the lock lever in this position, use the outside door handle. If the door lock lever is in the "unlocked" position, the rear door locks do not function.

The material was borrowed from the website www.MitsubishiMan.ru

Warning! To prevent accidents when transporting children in the rear seat, please use the rear door locks.

Centralized door lock control system

All door locks, including the rear (fifth) door lock, can be locked or unlocked by operating the interior door lock button on the driver's door control panel or by using the door lock button on either front door (driver or front passenger).

1. Locking position.
2. Unlock position.

Note: All door locks can be individually locked or unlocked independently of each other using the corresponding interior lock button.

Repeatedly switching the button from the "LOCK" position to the "UNLOCK" position on the remote control may cause the built-in protection circuit to be activated, disabling the centralized door lock control system. In this case, wait approximately 1 minute before pressing the interior lock button or using the key.
