Checking the oil cooler bypass valve
Make sure the valve moves smoothly without sticking.

Check that the distance "L" at normal temperature (20°C) and humidity corresponds to the nominal value.
Distance "L" (at 20°C): 34.5 mm.
Check that the valve stroke "L" increases above the nominal value after the valve is immersed in oil heated to a temperature of 97-103°C.
Distance "L" (at 97-103°C): 40 mm or more.
Install the lower guards.
Removal the oil cooler
Remove the lower protective covers,
Drain the engine oil.
Drain the coolant.
Remove the expansion tank assembly.
Remove the front bumper assembly.
Installing an oil cooler
Installation of parts is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Install the expansion tank assembly.
Fill with coolant.
Fill with engine oil.
Install the lower guards.
