Operations to be performed before removing and after installing the pump



Drain and refill the coolant.

Remove (install) the timing belt and balancer mechanism.

Removal sequence



Remove the generator tension bracket.

Remove the coolant pump.

Remove the coolant pump gasket.

Remove the rubber sealing ring from the water pipe.

Installing the rubber sealing ring of the water pipe





Install the rubber sealing ring into the groove on the water pipe.

Wet the rubber sealing ring and the inside of the coolant pump with water.

After this, insert the water pipe into the bore on the coolant pump.
