The manufacturer recommends using transmission oil of group GL-3 according to API classification with viscosity according to SAE 75W-85W.
Volume of oil to be filled:
- Manual transmission (2WD) - 2.3 l;
- Manual transmission (4WD) - 3.4 l;
- transfer case - 2.5 l.
Having installed a suitable container under the gearbox or transfer case, first unscrew the filler plug, then the drain plug and drain all the oil. If there are metal (steel) particles in the oil, they are captured by a magnet built into the drain plug. When changing the oil, the magnet should be thoroughly cleaned of these particles.
Tightening torques for drain plugs:
- 37 Nm (manual transmission);
- 32 Nm (transfer case).
Fill with fresh transmission oil to the level of the lower edge of the filler hole and tighten the filler plug to the torque:
- 37 Nm (manual transmission);
- 32 Nm (transfer case).
