Describes the removal and installation of the COLT release from 9.88. On other models, the operations are similar.

Removal





Fold the trim upward and remove the upper seat belt guides "16".

Use a screwdriver to pry up and remove the "17" plugs.

Unfasten the buttons at the bottom of the trim "18".



Use a long screwdriver to go along the inside of the trim, unfastening the buttons from the trim.



Press the buttons securing the front pillar trim with a screwdriver and remove the trim.





Remove the rear view mirror mounting trim and remove the mirror.

Remove sun visors.

Hook and remove the protective glass. Loosen the mounting screws and pull out the interior light assembly. Disconnect the cable connector.



Remove the upper handle on the front passenger side and hanger "10".



Pull off the rear part of the headliner "12" and hook and remove the clips "13". Remove the headliner.



Installation



Install the headliner in the reverse order of removal. Replace damaged buttons and clips.



When installing the sun shield, first insert the fastener into the trim. Then turn the locking handle to lock the sun shield.

Tighten the upper seat belt guides to 50 Nm.
