Turn the filler cap counterclockwise to remove it.
Attention:
- Since gasoline is a highly flammable substance and careless handling can cause a fire, be sure to observe the following precautions when refueling:
- Be sure to turn off the engine.
- Do not smoke, do not bring matches or lighters near the neck.
- Do not open the fuel filler cap suddenly, as pressurized fuel may spray out of the filler cap, causing a fire or injury.
- Observe the following precautions when handling the fuel tank cap. Otherwise, fuel may leak and cause a fire. - After refueling, make sure the fuel tank cap is securely closed.
- If replacing, install a cover manufactured by MITSUBISHI.
