2. Set the switch to the position corresponding to the vehicle load (number of passengers and weight of cargo).
Headlight range control positions:
2WD Models:
- "0" - driver or driver and front passenger.
- "1" - the driver and all passengers.
- "2" - the driver all passengers and a full load of the luggage compartment.
- "3" - the driver and a full load of the luggage compartment.
4WD Models:
- "0" - driver or driver and front passenger.
- "2" - the driver and all passengers or the driver, all passengers and a full load of the luggage compartment.
- "4" - the driver and a full load of the luggage compartment.
Interior and luggage compartment lighting
Note: To avoid discharging the battery, do not leave the interior lights on for long periods of time when the engine is not running.
1. The overhead console has an interior lamp, in addition, there are rear seat and local illumination lamps on the ceiling, the switches of which can be set to the following positions:
- the middle position at which the interior lighting lights up when any car door is open and goes out when all doors are closed.
- "OFF" - a position in which the interior lighting does not light up, even when the door is opened.
- "ON" - a position in which the interior lighting is constantly on.
Note:
- On models with a remote central locking system, after removing the key from the ignition or closing all doors, the interior lights will dim before turning off within 30 seconds. However, if one of the following conditions is met, the interior lamps will turn off immediately:
- A) When the ignition key is turned to position "ON".
- b) When locking the doors with the interior lock button on the driver's door lock or the transmitter key.
- The rear seat light comes on when the rear side doors are opened and turns off when they are closed.
Interior lighting
Rear seat lighting (sedan).
Rear seat lighting (station wagon).
2. To turn on the local illumination lamp, press the corresponding switch. This lamp illuminates a small area in the front seat area.
3. (station wagon) To turn on the luggage compartment light, move the switch shown in the figure to one of the possible positions:
- "1" - a position in which the luggage compartment lighting is constantly on.
- "2" - the middle position at which the luggage compartment lighting lights up when the tailgate is open and goes out when it is closed.
- "3" - a position in which the luggage compartment lighting does not light up, even when the tailgate is opened.
