2. Remember to activate the anti-theft system before leaving the vehicle unattended.
Activation
1. Park the car and turn off the engine.
2. Remove the key from the ignition switch.
3. Make sure all doors, as well as the hood and trunk lid (Sedan models) are closed.
4. Lock the front doors and tailgate (Wagon models) with the key or remote control.
Note: On Estate models, the tailgate may be locked at the same time as one of the front doors of the vehicle.

5. After completing the above operations, the anti-theft system indicator lamp on the instrument panel will light for approximately 20 seconds and then go out, indicating that the system is on.
Note: If one of the vehicle doors is opened while the indicator lamp is active, the system will automatically deactivate.
6. The system can be activated even if not all doors, including the tailgate on Estate models, are locked, and also when the bonnet or boot lid is open (Sedan models).
7. The system cannot be activated if at least one of the vehicle doors, including the tailgate on Station Wagon models, is not closed tightly.
8. On Sedan models, the trunk lid can be opened with the key even after the anti-theft system is activated, which will be reactivated after the lid is closed.
Alarm mode
1. The alarm signal is triggered when the anti-theft alarm is activated in the following cases:
- If you try to open any of the doors or the trunk lid of the car without a key or remote control;
- When trying to open the hood (from the outside or from the inside using the standard lever);
2. When any of the above conditions are met, the anti-theft alarm siren is activated. The alarm signal lasts for 30 seconds, after which it automatically turns off.
3. The alarm signal can be switched off by turning the key in the lock of any door/trunk lid (the key can be turned in any direction), or using the remote control.
Disconnection
The anti-theft system can be disabled by unlocking any of the car doors using the key or the remote control, or by turning the key in the ignition switch to the ACC or ON position.
Note: The system can only be reactivated in the standard way (see the relevant subsection above).
Checking the proper functioning of the anti-theft system
1. Lower the driver's door window.
2. Activate the system.
3. Make sure that the indicator lamp operates properly.
4. Check the correct operation of the sound signal by opening the hood or trunk lid from inside the car (Sedan models)
5. Disable the system by opening any of the vehicle doors with the key or remote control.
