1. Turning on the side lights, headlights, instrument cluster and license plate lighting.

Note: The headlight and turn signal switch operates regardless of the position of the key in the ignition switch.

a) When the switch is set to position the side lights, instrument cluster and license plate illumination are switched on.

b) When the switch is set to position the low beam headlights are turned on.

Models without automatic headlight on/off.

Models with automatic headlights on/off (station wagon).

2. To turn on the high beam headlights, set the switch to the position and pull it towards you (position "1"). The operation of the high beam headlights is accompanied by the corresponding indicator on the instrument cluster.

Note: If you turn off the headlights with the high beam on, the next time you turn on the headlights (position ) the low beam headlights will be turned on.

To turn off the high beam headlights and turn on the low beam headlights, return the switch to its original position.

To briefly turn on the high beam headlights (high beam headlight signaling), pull the switch towards you until you feel resistance (position "2"), then release.

3. To turn on the turn signal, move the switch up or down (position 1). The corresponding turn signal indicator on the indicator panel flashes.

The lever will automatically return to its original position after completing the turn. However, when changing lanes, you may need to manually return the lever to the neutral position.

To activate the lane change signal, move the lever to the up or down position until resistance to movement is felt and hold it in this position (position 2).

Caution: If the turn signal indicators on the instrument cluster flash more frequently than usual, the front or rear turn signal bulb has burned out.

4. (Station wagon) Automatic headlights on/off.

The system operates when the ignition key is in the "ON" position.

When you turn the switch knob to the "AUTO" position, the headlights, side lights, instrument cluster lighting and license plate lighting are automatically turned on/off depending on the lighting conditions.

If you turn off the ignition and open the driver's door, the light alarm will automatically turn off. When you turn the ignition key to the "ON" position, it will turn on again.

Note: Do not place foreign objects on the light sensor. The location of the sensor is shown in the figure.

5. Turning on the hazard warning lights. The hazard warning lights can be turned on regardless of the ignition key position. To turn on the hazard warning lights, press the switch shown in the figure. Note: Use this switch when you are forced to stop on the road or in an accident.
