There is an airbag warning light on the instrument panel.
The system automatically checks its readiness and signals it with a signal light. When the ignition key is turned to the ON or START position, the indicator light will come on for approximately 7 seconds and then go out. This means that the system is working properly and is turned on.
Warning! If any of the following events occur, it will indicate a malfunction in the airbag system and you should immediately contact a specialist:
- – the airbag warning light does not come on when the engine is started;
- – the airbag warning light does not go out after 7 seconds;
- – the airbag warning light comes on when the vehicle is moving.
