Seat belts can be cleaned with a hydrocarbon dry cleaner or washed with soap or other detergent.

Do not bleach or re-dye seat belts. By doing this you can reduce their strength.

Check the operation of locks and buckles regularly.

Check that the mounting bolts are securely tightened. If the seat belt has cuts, thickening or discolored spots indicating that the seat belt has been exposed to strong sunlight, it should be replaced.

Attention! After a collision, the seat belt, all its fastenings and mechanisms must be checked by a specialist. It is recommended to replace the seat belts after a collision only if the collision was minor and the seat belts are in good condition.

Do not attempt to repair or replace seat belts or their components yourself; this work should be entrusted to specialists. If this work is not performed by a professional, it may reduce the reliability of the seat belts and lead to injury in the event of an accident.
