Attention:
- Be sure to adjust the seat before you travel. Adjust the height of the headrest so that its center is at eye level.
- After adjustment, make sure the seat is securely locked in place.
- When driving, do not place a pillow or anything similar between your back and the seat back. This will reduce the effectiveness of the head restraints in an accident.
To reduce the risk of injury in the event of a collision or sudden braking, the driver and passenger seat backs must be in an upright position while the vehicle is moving. When the seat back is tilted backwards, the protective effect of the seat belts is significantly reduced. There is a risk that a person will slip out from under the belts in the event of a collision and sudden stop of the vehicle, which can lead to serious injury.
Front seat adjustment
1. Adjusting the longitudinal position of the front seats.
(Models without power seats) To adjust the front seats longitudinally, move the lever up and move the seat to the desired position. After adjustment, return the lever to its original position.

(Models with power seats) To adjust the front seats forward or backward, move the switch to the desired position as shown in the illustration.

2. Adjusting the position of the front seat backrests.
(Models without power seats) To change the angle of the seatback, lean forward slightly, pull up on the seatback lock lever, then lean back to the desired position and release the lever. The seatback will lock in that position.

(Models with power seats) To adjust the seatback angle, slide the switch to the desired position as shown in the illustration.

3. Adjusting the height of the front edge of the seat cushion.
(Models without power seats) The height of the front edge of the seat cushion can be adjusted by turning the adjusting wheel.

(Models with power seats) To adjust the height of the front edge of the seat cushion, move the front edge of the switch up or down.

4. (Models with power seats only) Adjust the height of the rear edge of the seat cushion.
To adjust the height of the rear edge of the seat cushion, move the rear edge of the switch up or down.

5. Adjusting the position of the headrest.
To raise the headrest, pull it up. To lower the headrest, release the lock by pressing the lock, and then lower the headrest down.
To remove the headrest, press the latch and remove it.

Warning: Do not drive without a headrest. There is a risk of injury in a collision. Before driving, be sure to install it on the seat and adjust its height so that its center is level with the back of your head.
Adjusting the rear seat backrest (station wagon)
To adjust the position of the rear seat back, lift the seat back lock lever, then set the rear seat back to the desired position. After releasing the lock lever, the seat back will be fixed in the set position.
Note: The left and right sides of the rear seat backrest can be adjusted separately.

Increased luggage space (station wagon)
1. To increase the luggage compartment space, lift the release lever and fold the rear seatback forward as shown in the illustration.
Note:
- The left and right parts of the rear seat backrest can be folded separately.
- Do not leave the rear seat backrest unsecured and resting against the luggage compartment cover, as this may cause the cover to become deformed.

2. To return to the normal position, lift the locking lever and lift the seatback until it locks into the upright position.
3. After raising the seatback, move it slightly to make sure it is securely locked in place.
Removal the rear seat cushion
1. To remove the seat cushion, lift up the front part as shown in the figure, then detach the rear part of the cushion.

2. To install the seat cushion in place, attach the hinges of the back of the seat to the seat back, then lower the front of the seat and secure it with the hooks until it clicks into place. After installing the seat cushion, make sure it is securely fastened.

ISOFIX child seat anchorages
Child seats are equipped with special additional fastenings to prevent them from tipping over in the event of a collision.
Rear seats equipped with ISOFIX child seat anchorages have a label that says "ISOFIX" on one side and "LATCH" on the other.
ISOFIX child seat anchorages are designed to keep children safe while driving (contact your MITSUBISHI dealer for more information).
The ISOFIX child seat anchorages are located between the rear seat cushion and backrest.
Child seats are secured using ISOFIX mountings.
