Attention:
- The power of the heater is only enough to remove fogging or frost, but not enough to melt the snow that has stuck to the glass. Before turning on the heater, remove the snow from the glass.
- To avoid discharging the battery, do not use the heater when the engine is not running. Turn off the heater as soon as the glass is clear.
- When wiping the inside of the glass, use a soft cloth. Wipe the glass carefully along the heater wires to avoid damaging them.
- Do not stick anything on the heater wires. Do not place objects near the glass that could accidentally touch the heater filaments and damage them.
2. To turn on the heater, press the switch shown in the figure.
3. The rear/tailgate defroster operates for 20 minutes and then turns off automatically. The operation of the heater is accompanied by the burning of the indicator on the switch. To force shutdown, press the switch again.
