Replacing the fuel filter (Mitsubishi L200 4)

1. Unscrew the fuel tank filler cap (to relieve pressure in the tank).

2. Disconnect the water presence sensor connector and the fuel line heater connector (if equipped).

3. Disconnect the fuel lines and remove the fuel filter assembly with the bracket.

4. Clean the water sensor.



5. Using the oil filter wrench, unscrew the housing and replace the filter element.

6. Restore all connections and bleed air from the fuel lines (see below).
