Filling with GTZ fluid
Since the GTZ is not equipped with a check valve, in the absence of brake fluid in it (before bleeding the brake, it is necessary to remove air from the master cylinder). To do this, after filling the reservoir with brake fluid, press and hold the brake pedal. Ask your partner to clamp the outlet holes of the GTZ with your fingers and gently release the pedal. To completely fill the internal cavities of the cylinder, repeat this procedure several times.
Removal of air from lines and working cylinders
Removal of air from the brake system is carried out according to the standard method with the engine running.
The sequence of air removal from the branches of the hydraulic system is shown in figures M21.032 and M21.033.
Note: In the process of bleeding, regularly check the level and top up the brake fluid in the GTZ.
