Checking the fluid level in the power steering reservoir
The hydraulic drive of the brakes and clutch is filled only with fluid according to the DOT-3 standard.
The fluid level should be maintained close to the MAX mark on the reservoir. A gradual drop in the level is allowed due to wear of the brake linings (or clutch disc).
A rapid drop in level indicates the presence of a leak and the need for immediate repair.
